GTC Accessories Info & Care

Are GTC Accessories made in Britain?

Yes, its important to us that all our products are handmade by us, in our Northamptonshire factory. We're proud to not only source the best quality materials but also have an incredibly talented team of machinists to bring them to life. It means we can not only innovate consistently but also guarantee that everything we send out with the GTC name on it, is to our high standards. 

How do I wash my GTC Towel?

GTC towels are machine washable. It is important that the washer is set to a cold setting to reduce the risk of damaging the product.

Make sure to use a microfibre or mild detergent to preserve the towels for longer.

When drying your microfibre towels, make sure they are hanged and air-dried. It is possible to also tumble dry the towel on the lowest setting.

Can I wash my GTC Head Cover?

Printed head covers are machine washable and for best results it should be on a cold setting. They can be tumble dried but on a low setting. Harris Tweed head covers are not machine washable.

What method is used to create the printed designs on GTC Accessories?

GTC accesories use sublimation printing to create our printed designs.  This allows us to create full colour, high quality designs. It also allows them to be very durable as the dye essentially impregnates the fabric, actually becoming a part of the fabric itself. The printing then cannot be damaged with wear, nor can it be flaked off or crack.  Another advantage is it allows for small, custom runs of designs.

Is there a minimum order for custom designs?

No, we want to help bring your design to life. Minimum order quantities start at 1. Fill in the details on the Your Custom Design page and get in touch!

Do you offer wholesale accounts?

If you would like to stock GTC Accessories or are interested in working with us to create your own range, please contact the GTC Team.  We are always looking to build new partnerships.

We are working with an increasing number of golf clubs, retailers & brands to both distribute GTC designs and to bring their exclusive designs to life.

I don't have a finished logo, can you help?

Yes. If you don't have a finished logo for your team, society or event we can help. We have a range of golf themed logos available or our team of designers can work on something more bespoke with you.  Get in touch with team for an artwork estimate.

Will I receive confirmation of the embroidery options?

Yes. After placing your order for personalied clothing, you will receive a proof outlining the embroidery options for you to confirm before the order is progressed.

Can I order by phone instead?

Can I see a sample of a piece of clothing before ordering?

Yes, we want you to be happy with your order. The way we manage this is we charge the website price per sample and send these to you without personalisation.  We then ask these are returned within 28 days in the packaging, with tags and in the condition they were sent to you, whereupon we can either use these for your order or refund the cost of the samples in full.  We are not able to refund the cost of postage.

How is the clothing personalised?

We use high quality, in house embroidery for all our personalised clothing. Allowing us to add your logo, text or branding.

What is a set up cost and do I pay it for every order?

The set up cost is a one off charge for digitising your logo.

Can I add additional embroidery to a product?

Yes, of course. Select this option on the product customisation and we will contact you after placing your order for details and payment.

Can I change where the embroidery is located?

As standard on clothing, embroidery is situated on the right chest as worn. Please state if a different location is wanted and we will confirm this with you after placing the order.

Does it cost more to have many colours in the logo?

The cost of embroidering the logo in the main is not affected by the number of colours. We would advise you at the point of order if there were any reasons for additional cost (only where logos are very complex or when they contain double digit colours).

Are quantity discounts available?

If you are looking to order more than 50 personalised items, contact the GTC Team.  There may be quantity discounts available on certain products.

United Kingdom

Standard Delivery: Free on orders over £50 (£6.95 for orders under £50). Please allow up to 3-5 working days for our GTC accessories and 7-10 working days for our personalised clothing service. Some of our items are handmade to order, however we do our best to get every order out to our customers as quickly as possible. Please note there is a shipping charge of £17.00 to special UK areas and in some cases can take 2 extra days.

Special UK Areas are Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Islands & Isle of Man. Available options will be shown during checkout. Special UK Areas are defined as the following postcode areas: AB36-38, AB55-56, BT, FK17-21, GY, HS, IM, IV1-56, IV63, JE, KA27-28, KW0-17, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH19-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, TR21-25, ZE

Standard Delivery: £39.95 Please allow up to 14 working days. Some of our items are handmade to order, however we do our best to get every order ot to our customers as quickly as possible.

Delivering to your address

Please supply a delivery address where there will be someone in to sign for your parcel. If there is nobody in when the courier calls, they will leave a card. You can collect your goods from your local branch or arrange a redelivery. For UK orders we use DPD Local. Tracking details will be sent to your email and mobile if a number is supplied on the order. If you have a problem with a delivery or with goods damaged in transit, email us at info@golfteamclothing.com.

Customs and Duties

You, the buyer, are responsible for any VAT, tarrif, duty, taxes, handling fees, custom clearance charges, etc. required by your country for importing consumer goods. We do not collect this beforehand, and cannot give you an estimate of the cost - charges vary around the world. As an international consumer, please do your research to ensure there are no surprise charges when clearing your package through customs, and to have an idea of what the additional cost may be. If you are unfimiliar with customs fees and charges, please speak to your local postal or customs office for more information. It is your full responsibility to verify the customs, duties charges and procedures in your country prior to placing your order. If customs fees and charges are refused at the time of delivery, your order will be returned and you will not receive a refund for shipment costs.

Returns

Returns Policy

We want you to be delighted with your GTC purchase which is why we offer a 28 day return or exchange policy if you aren't totally satisfied, unless that item has been personalised. Please note returned goods must be unused & unwashed. To deal with your return quickly, all returns must be marked as RETURNED GOODS and include your name, order number and reason for return. We will credit the card we have on file for you or your paypal account and this may take up to 10 working days to appear as cleared funds. Can personalised products be returned?

Unfortunately we cannot accept returns for personalised items. Please note that once a personalised item has been made and supplied to you as a custom made item, you do not have the right to return it if it is unsuitable. You do not have the right to return your item if you have provided the incorrect details. Please be sure of suitability before purchasing. To cancel your personalised order you must notify us within 24 hours post purchase.

What do I do if the item is the wrong size?

For UK customers please return it to us within 28 days. For International customers please return it to us within 14 days. Returned goods must be unused & unwashed. Goods will be refunded by the method you used to pay for your order. This may take up to 10 working days to appear as cleared funds.

What do I do if an item is faulty when delivered?

While we make every effort to make sure every product leaving us is perfect, they are handmade & on rare occasion there may be a mistake. Please return it to us with an explanation of the fault, your name and order number. Once we receive the goods: 1. If you request a refund we will refund you by the method used to pay for the order (this may take up to 10 days to appear as cleared funds) for the goods and postage. 2. If you requested a replacement we will despatch this to you within 5 working days.

Who is responsible for postage on returned items?

If you return something due to incorrect size or unsuitability, you will need to pay the postage costs to return it to us. If you return something due to it being faulty we will refund the postage costs. We recommend you use recorded delivery or registered post to return items so as to cover yourself against loss.

How quickly will returns be processed?

We aim to process all returns as quickly as possible but this may take up to 7 working days. If you have not received your exchange or refund within 10 working days please contact info@golfteamclothing.com.
